At that time his
building was owned by Nicor, northern Illinois’s natural gas service
provider. Because of Mr. Jim’s quality of workmanship and automotive
expertise, he received a contract to service Nicor’s fleet vehicles
and have been doing so for 19 years.
In 1998 the Illinois Department of
Transportation needed to widen the corner where Mr. Jim’s was located,
so the business moved a few blocks north on Rt. 59 to their
present
location. When he made the move, Jim made a significant investment by
installing the latest computerized test equipment and making sure he had
access to all the technical data on every make and model of automobile
and light truck. Jim
is an ASE Certified Master Technician, and all of the
technicians on staff are also ASE Certified. Because of their
state-of-the-art equipment and highly trained technicians, Mr. Jim’s is
one of the most professional automotive repair centers in the Chicagoland
area today.
When the business first started, Mr. Jim’s
vision was to provide high quality automotive services so all of his
customers were 100% satisfied. He wanted his Technicians to gain as
much knowledge and experience as possible so they could all share in the
business’s success. To this day, Mr. Jim’s vision has not changed.
